OIS Parent Orientation

Hello Parents,

I am Josh Kelley and I am your child’s 5th grade Social Studies teacher this year at OIS.  I want to personally invite you to Parent Orientation tomorrow night (9/14), beginning at 6:00 in the cafeteria.  We will begin the night with a “Call to Excellence” assembly, which is our morning grade wide gathering that we start our day off with.  This will be followed by a parent meeting with the OIS administration and then you will follow your child’s schedule, period-by-period.  Your child’s schedule will be provided and please pick it up upon arrival.  The administration has asked that, if at all possible, no students attend as there will be many parents in attendance.  Thank you for your help in this matter.

It has been such a pleasure to get to know every student that I teach.  I know that it is going to be a great school year.

I am looking forward to meeting you tomorrow night at Parent Orientation.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
