In 2014, Ashley was selected as Tomball ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year. Prior to joining Tomball, she was a fifth grade teacher in Cy-Fair ISD. Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University and a master of education in instructional leadership at Sam Houston State University.

I am so excited to be the Assistant Principal at OIS!! I look forward to meeting each and everyone one of you! I am originally from a small town in Texas, and graduated from Texas A & M University in 2005 with a double major in business marketing and management. WHOOP! After working in the business world, I decided to go back to school because my real passion in life is teaching! In May 2010, I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a master's degree in Instructional Leadership and a minor in Instructional Technology. I also obtained my principal certification. This will be my 13th year in education and my 12th year in Tomball ISD.

I enjoy golfing, fishing, spending time with my family, traveling and playing with my dog, Allie.  It is my privilege to work with students, parents, and staff at Oakcrest Intermediate where relationships are built through teamwork and collaboration. I'm looking forward to a great year!!
