Preparing students for the workforce is the founding principle of public education. Integrity, respect, courtesy, responsibility, and citizenship are a few of the character skills necessary for success in any career. The development of these career skills in addition to high levels of academic achievement are vital for success for all Tomball ISD students in their chosen path after high school graduation.
Public school libraries serve a vital role in public education. Tomball ISD provides a wide range of library materials for students that support student achievement and present varying levels of difficulty, diversity of appeal, and a variety of points of view.
Over the past few months the district has received increased questions and concerns associated with “Critical Race Theory (CRT).” Tomball ISD curriculum, nor any other operation whatsoever, within Tomball ISD has ever included any aspects of CRT.
Tomball ISD residents 60 and above are eligible to receive a Super Senior card, which provides free admission into home athletic and fine arts events district-wide. Signup and card distribution begins October 3.
Tomball ISD is a Straight A District and was the Top Rated School District in Harris and Montgomery Counties, according to TEA's Accountability ratings.

Tomball ISD Child Nutrition Department’s daily goal is to prepare and serve nutritious meals to all children in Tomball ISD regardless of economic status. With that, at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year, student meal rates will return. Households must again apply for free or reduced meal benefits.
