TOMBALL - Tomball ISD is set to host the District Science Fair and welcomes the community to a public viewing of the top-awarded science projects from each school on Thursday, January 13 from 5-7 p.m.
In October 2021, Tomball ISD students in grades 3-12 were invited to participate in campus science fairs on topics ranging from comparative to collection to engineering design.
Students were encouraged to select a topic that interests them and that others may also find interesting.
In December, judging occurred at each campus and the top projects were invited to participate in the Tomball ISD District Science Fair. Students will have the opportunity during the day to present their project to judges and compete against others across the district to be awarded the best science project in a grades 3-5 division and a grades 6-12 division.
The top three winners in the grades 6-12 division are eligible to apply to advance to the Science & Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH) at the George R Brown Convention Center on February 26, 2022.
