Thanks for a great year!

Wow! What an unexpected, yet unforgettable school year that we encountered together! It has been an absolute pleasure and honor to teach your remarkable children! I am so very proud of their work ethic and growth they demonstrated over the course of the year. Despite the challenges we faced, the students showed flexibility, perseverance, and responsibility. They have bright futures ahead and I cannot wait to see what they accomplish along their educational journey and beyond!

I cannot thank you enough for your unending support from home especially during distance learning. It does not go unnoticed the work that you do as a parent to help your child be successful! Your children are truly phenomenal, so hats off to you and how you have raised them.

I have high hopes that our OIS Wildcats will soar at the junior high level! Wishing you all the very best! I hope you have a safe and relaxing summer with your family! Please give your child a great big hug from me and let them know how much they will truly be missed here at Oakcrest Intermediate!

Remembrance week begins on January 27th. This is the day that Auschwitz was liberated by Allied troops and this year is the 75th anniversary. To commemorate and learn more about the Holocaust, we would like to invite all 6th-grade families to join us at the Holocaust Museum this Saturday, January 25th at 10:00 am.

Tickets are $15.00 for adults and children up to 18 are free. This is a great opportunity for parents to interact and learn alongside your child as you tour and explore the museum together. This is not a school-sponsored trip. We simply feel this would be a valuable learning experience for our students. We hope your family can join us, but this is not required.

Please complete this form if you are interested in attending so we can send more information.
