Industrial Revolution and Reform Assessment - Tuesday, March 3, 2020

The review sheet was given to students on February 25th (5th & 8th Periods) and February 26th (1st-3rd and 7th Periods).  A fully completed review sheet with a parent/guardian signature will give the students 5 extra points added to their test.  We are still learning some of the information that is on the review sheet.  The review sheet is due on Tuesday, March 3rd before the test begins.

To complete the review sheet, students have resources in their Social Studies Notebook as well as in Google Classroom.  If the Social Studies Notebook goes home, it is the student's responsibility to have it in class as we will be using it and putting stuff in it throughout the week.

Tutoring will be available in the mornings beginning at 7:20.  Students must have a pass issued by me in order to attend.  They will need to show this pass to the staff that are on duty in the atrium and should report ASAP to receive the maximum support needed.

Road to Revolution Project
Project Product Due: 11/8/2019

Students have received the instructions for the Road to Revolution Project and we went over what was expected.  These instructions are posted in Google Classroom as well as research resources. The project is due on Friday, November 8th at the start of class.  Students will be given three class periods in which to work on it at school, in addition to working on it at home, coming in before school at 7:20, and if students are wave 2 or 3 or have a club after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The following are class project work days: October 31, November 1, and November 4. Please ensure that students have their graphic organizer (back side of instructions page) for their research notes on these days, so that they are prepared.  Once students have completed their notes, they will begin the second part which is to create a product to display their learning. We will have a gallery walk on November 8th and I also would like to display their work around campus.

At the bottom of the project instructions sheet there is a spot for a parent signature.  Please sign the bottom of the page, so that you know that there is a project going on in Social Studies.  This is the first major grade of the 2nd Nine Weeks!!
